LANGLAND SETS RECORD AT PM AWARDS
Langland has dominated the 2009 PM Society Advertising Awards, taking an incredible seven of 17 categories, the best performance ever by a single agency.
During the ceremony, held at the Grosvenor House hotel on 29 January, Langland's work was recognised a total of 17 times, with 3 finalists, 3 highly commended, and 4 commended, alongside the seven winners.
Neil G P Smith, the Awards' chairman, singled us out for congratulations, saying: "The distinctive style of their work clearly found much favour with our creative judges."
Among the winning work, our Compass campaign for Schering-Plough was particularly successful, taking first place in the hospital campaign, journal advertisement campaign and hospital journal advertisement categories. Our work for Eisai Europe and UK on NeuroBloc, a treatment cervical dystonia, was also a multiple winner, for best core international campaign and best detail aid.
Langland's 'Real Danger - Rat' continued its prolonged run of form, appearing in a bucket of popcorn to help us win the award for best healthcare industry journal advertisement.
